This time I give you The Mindbenders, The Merseybeat group formed by Wayne Fontana in 1963. The name of the group was inspired by the title of a 1963 film, starring the British actor Sir Dirk Bogarde, called The Mind Benders.
There will be more Merseybeat bands in the time to come as this is still one of my favourite kinds of music. I know, I’m slowly loosing it – Ted
