Bernt-Bjarne is not at all well, that is obvious. In his confused view of the world, there are extra-terrestrial beings out there who are after our thoughts. Had he been a slightly more clear he might have gathered that if this was so, the extra-terrestrials would have found other and more stable peoples thoughts more interesting than his own.
On the internet Bernt-Bjarne found drawings on a helmet in aluminium foil that would prevent this theft of thought. But he is not any good with his hands either, so a aluminium dish in which there once was frozen fish have had to do. The fit is rather poor, so it has had to be taped to his head, something Bernt-Bjarne is less bothered by. The website for people as confused and disoriented as Bernt-Bjarne himself could also tell that the glasses designed for 3D film enables one to see the aliens, so Bernt-Bjarne has somehow managed to make a couple of these, and he always wear them.
Bernt-Bjarne is Superstitious too, and he always wear a rabbit’s foot hanging from one ear and a four-leaf clover from the other. The idea for this he has found on one of his two favourite sites, foilheads.net and alienhunters.com. Here Bernt-Bjarne also communicates with a number of others as bewildered as himself and they exchange ideas regarding the fight against the aliens. All these ideas he has painstakingly written down in a big notebook that he always has with him.
For some reason, Brent-Barnes has imagined himself that he is employed by the Norwegian government to hunt extra-terrestrial being. A task he takes with the utmost seriousness, despite the fact that he is a mega-sissy and terrified to come into contact with these beings. This leads him into the strangest situations. Situations his poor brother Bengt-Bjarte usually have to get him out of.
