Simen Naavar Skjulerud is from the Police’s Security Service, PST. Exactly what title he holds is somewhat unclear as he only presents himself as Skjulerud from PST. Not uncommon among that lot as a whole. Like most plainclothes cops you can spot him a mile away. Shaved head, handlebar moustache , light blue shirt with flaps on both shoulders and pockets and yellow tinted glasses. Simen struggling with several phobias that make his working life more trying than most people’s. Simen Naavar Skjulerud is not surprisingly unmarried and enjoy fly tying, rose cultivation and bridge in his spare time. In addition, he collects vintage erotic films, photographs, books and magazines from the forties and fifties, a hobby he wisely keep from telling his colleagues about. Simen struggling to put away the gruff appearance he feels is necessary at work after hours and is of course not very popular among his neighbours and elsewhere around where he lives. Simen enjoy his work and the power he feels it gives him so long as it does not bring him into contact with accordionists or free church pastors and their congregations. In Simen’s eyes terrorists should be creepy foreigners of dubious origin and not blissfully grinning accordionists or indignant Free Church members. When these collide, the phobias makes havoc in poor Simen and makes his working day unpleasant and grey.
