For years on end the Norwegian Stately Betting Company ran the slogan “LOTTO millionaires are not like other millionaires” and showed TV commercials with LOTTO millionaires spending their money in the most hilarious ways.

Building the strips
Although almost all elements in series stripes are hand drawn and collared with watercolours it is a lot of Photoshop involved before the strips are finished. The work process is in many ways based on the old animation techniques, in other words, I work in layers. The front in the top layer and the back at the bottom. In other words, we are talking about loose figures, large moving backgrounds and details in separate layer.

A Look At The place
Although Moxie’s Café is a place that exists only in my fantasy and not out there in real life, I have had the create a fairly good picture of how it looks there. I know how all these weirdoes who frequent the place look like, so it is only natural to get a good picture of the environment they meet in. I picture Moxie’s in one of the nicer parts of Oslo West a mix between posh houses in lush gardens and old city blocks. The rough sketch below should give you an idea of how I envision the lay out of the place.
