20 oz. flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
5 oz. sugar
1/4 freshly ground nutmeg
7,4 oz. fat milk
2 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
For the cooking:
26 oz. of lard
Mix the baking powder, flour and salt. Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the ground nutmeg, flour and milk and last the melted butter. Roll the dough into finger-thick rolls and form small rings and boil them in the hot lard. When finished place on several layers of tissue paper to absorb the fat.
