Aslak Armand is Erling Eilert Torp Ivertzens son and definitely has not like his father the language in his power. He struggles with reading and writing difficulties which can lead to the funniest episodes, he believes for instance that it is a lady named Kari who control almost all toothpaste in the world. Like so many with his handicap Aslak Armand is a skilled draftsman and dreams and get into the arts and crafts collage in town. What he finds hard to put into words, he expresses with pencil and paper, either as single drawings or small cartoons.
Aslak Armand is deeply in love with Madeleine Michelle Røed-Stockman and have no idea that the emotions are strongly reciprocated. Little experience that he has with such matters he is unable to interpret the infatuated looks she constantly sending him when they meet at Moxie’s. Their mutual friends Isabelle Jasmine Aspelund Eilertsen and Bertil Bertram Normann-Holte both somewhat more versed in infatuation’s multifaceted world interprets the looks the two send on another easily and secretly have fun at their friends’ expense.
Aslak Armand is also proficient in most forms of sport and especially in fencing and dancing, which annoys his father who finds all kind of sports activity completely wasted if it can not be combined with salty snacks and drinking beer. Besides Erling thinks that the fencing and dancing is sports for spoiled sissies from families practising social climbing.
