Tormod is a real scamp, but unlike most of the patrons at Moxie’s he knows exactly what he is and who he is. He is lazy, slick, oily and fawning . Tormod earn a living by selling his own hand made jewellery and drawings on the street alternately in Bergen and Oslo. That he possess little mastery in any of the two areas doesn’t bother him at all as he is a master at telling real tear jerker stories about his terrible childhood that can open the purse of both tourists and locals in matters of minutes. This he do even though he belongs to one of the richest families in Bergen and has lived a carefree life since the day he was born.
Tormod has girlfriends in both Bergen and Oslo but they do not, of course know about one another. Should one of them start nagging about him cleaning up his act and get a real job, he leaves her, cross the country to the other and assumes that she has missed him enough to not start nagging at once. This way he travels back and forth from one girlfriend to the other, the lucky sod. Should he bee in need of money he can always ask his family where people amazingly enough are waiting for the boy to break through as an artist.
Isabelle Jasmine Aspelund Eilertsen, Tormod’s girlfriend in Oslo happily models nude for him to her mother’s enormous dismay. Should news of such behaviour reach the neighbours’ ears the family would face a scandal of incomprehensible dimensions. Young girls from the bourgeois elite do not do such a thing. This has lead Isabelle Jasmine’s mother to harbour a burning hate for Tormod and she slanders him in the most vicious manners at any chance, something Tormod finds hugely entertaining.
